WHAT: About 5 miles south of Jerusalem is a little town called Bethlehem. It’s a chaotic season. There are bright stars, visitors and a lot of people. In a manger, a baby is born. With “great joy to all people”: “To you is born … in the [village] of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord” (Luke 2:10–11). Jesus is the reason for the season.
