The ministry team and staff at UMBC help Pastor in promoting the spiritual welfare of the church family and community . They use their talents to embrace others and to share the love of Christ.
At UMBC, our ministry team includes Associate and Assistant Ministers ; Diaconate; Ministry Leads; Trustees; Church Secretary; Church Clerk and our many volunteers. We aim to reach a broad spectrum of men, women, youth, and seniors in our church and in the community.
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
Our Diaconate is also available to teach, pray, provide service where needed, serve the ordinance of baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work. Live in peace with each other.
The Trustees oversee the finances, property, and church compliance with applicable legal requirements. They are involved with managing all contracts, planning, adherence to the Church Constitution and the long-range church vision.
Union Missionary Baptist Church (UMBC) welcomed Pastor-Elect, Reverend Kenny Craig, his wife Corrie and family in March of 2023.
Pastor Craig’s greatest love is preaching and teaching in the church and community. He believes you cannot live in a community and not give back to it.
