A Message from UMBC’s Mission Ministry….
Please join the Union Mission Ministry in partnering with our neighbor —Grace Lutheran Church Outdoor Little Food Pantry Ministry.
The UMBC Mission Ministry will spearhead filling the outdoor ‘little food pantry’ on the first Wednesday of each month,
If you would like to join our efforts, we welcome donations of ready to eat – non-perishable food items. There will be a collection bin at the UMBC Welcome Center on Sundays prior to each first Wednesday.
Our 2025 UMBC Collection Dates:
- August 31
- September 28
- Octiber 26
- November 30
Examples of Ready to Eat Non-Perishable and Items with a Pull Tab or Ring Pull Are:
- Sardines
- Vienna Sausages
- Potted Meat
- Tuna and Crackers
- Chicken and Crackers
- Crackers with Peanut Butter
- Fruit Cups
- Apple Sauce
- Carton Juices
- Any ready to eat on the spot items that do not require refrigeration, need to be microwaved, and etc.
