Although UMBC continues to social distance at this time, our congregation continues to make a difference in the community and in connecting with others to learn more about God. His work has not stopped!  We invite you to join us for Sunday School, Sunday Worship, Bible Study, Mid-Week Bible Study & Prayer and for Intercessory Prayer.

TIMES and SCHEDULE 

Sunday Monday Wednesday Intercessory Prayer
9am Sunday School  (Contemporary Adult and Adult Mixed)

10 am  – Join us Virtually for Sunday Worship on Facebook Live

11 am – Youth Sunday School.  Classes for all ages!

1 pm  – Youth Worship Service

6pm – Straight Talk & Men’s Bible Fellowship. The current theme is “Protecting your Faith; Fighting the Right Fight”. The focus will be on how Men of Faith can prepare for battle to fight for families, communities and faith.

 

Women’s Bible Study returns at 6:30 pm on September 14th

6pm. In August, UMBC Associate Ministers, Sunday School instructors and others will lead our Midweek Prayer and Bible Study.

 

We thank Deacon Alvin Holloway for leading last week’s study.  Join us this week on Wednesday September 2nd at 6pmon Facebook and Zoom.

There are a variety of exciting classes available this fall through the UMBC Institute of Training (UMBC IOT).  Topics range from new members to leadership and Spiritual growth to Bible topics. After a much needed vacation, it is with great joy that we welcome back Pastor Jones and Minister Sallie Jones!  We pray that you were able to enjoy some of your time away and that it provided a moment for relaxation.  Welcome home!  

ARE YOU REGISTERED TO VOTE IN NOVEMBER?

 To register in Michigan you must:

  • Be a citizen of the United States
  • Be 18 years old by the next election
  • Be a resident of Michigan and at least a 30 day resident of your city or township by Election Day
  • Not be confined in a jail after being convicted and sentenced

Warning: Michigan law requires that the same address be used for voter registration and driver license purposes. Therefore, if the residence address you provide on this form differs from the address shown on a driver license or personal identification card issued by the State of Michigan, the Secretary of State will automatically change your driver license or personal identification card address to match the residence address entered on this form. If an address change is made, the Secretary of State will mail you an address update sticker for your driver license or personal identification card.
