Giving Tuesday – Youth Ministry Trip to National Baptist Congress of Christian Education

UMBC’s Youth Ministry is organizing a trip for youth and chaperones to attend the National Baptist Congress of Christian Education in 2026. The ministry is currently seeking financial assistance to make this opportunity accessible for all participants. Additional fundraising opportunities are also planned. Donations will help cover essential costs such as registration, transportation, accommodation, and meals.

About the National Baptist Congress

The National Missionary Baptist Convention of America is renowned for its commitment to spiritual growth and community engagement. These values are deeply embedded in the mission of the National Baptist Congress, making this event an ideal setting for youth development. Attendance at the congress allows our youth to come together in worship and take part in a variety of workshops focused on spoken word, mime ministries, praise dance, drill team technique classes, and performances.

How You Can Support

Monetary donations will be accepted either online or in person on December 2nd. These contributions directly enable youth and chaperones to participate in this transformative experience.  Also note that additional fundraising opportunities will be conducted during the year.
